Damien Fargo is a career firefighter with a passion for serving others and a deep commitment to the fire service. He proudly served 5½ years on active duty in the United States Army, where he developed the discipline, leadership, and work ethic that continue to define his career today.
While serving in the Army, Damien began his fire service career by working part-time with both the Walthourville Fire Department and the Liberty County Fire Department in Georgia. After his military service, Damien began his career as a firefighter with the Fayetteville Fire Department, serving at Station 9. He currently serves as a career firefighter at Fort Bragg Fire & Emergency Services, Station 1, where he continues to train and learn every aspect of the job.
Damien’s passion for the fire service extends far beyond responding to emergency calls. He believes that being a firefighter is a lifelong commitment to excellence, integrity, and continuous improvement. Every day, he strives to become the kind of firefighter he would want responding to his own home or protecting his own family. That mindset drives him to continually improve his skills, support his crew, and provide the highest level of service to the community he is honored to protect.
