Danielle began her fire service career in 2020 with the City of Raleigh Fire Department. She started on one of Raleigh’s busiest engines, Engine 3, known as the “War Wagon,” where she developed the foundation of her firefighting career. While assigned there, she began leading PT sessions part-time for recruits at Johnston Community College and eventually became a lead instructor for the college’s Fire Academy.
Today, Danielle serves as a firefighter on Raleigh’s Ladder 14 under the Special Operations division. She is also a member of USAR Task Force-8 and the department’s Technical Rescue Team. In addition to her operational roles, Danielle continues to teach at Johnston Community College and Wake Technical Community College. She is passionate about the fire service, the people she serves alongside, and preparing the next generation of firefighters with a strong emphasis on physical fitness and readiness.
