Brody woods

Brody began his fire service career as a volunteer in Cumberland County while serving in the 82nd Airborne Division. During that time, he developed a deep appreciation for the fire service and the mission that comes with it. That passion ultimately led him to leave the Army and pursue a full-time career as a firefighter with the City of Fayetteville.

He is currently assigned to Station 4, a dual company house operating both an Engine and Squad. His time in the military helped build a strong foundation in leadership, discipline, and mentorship—principles he continues to carry with him on and off the fireground.

He has a deep-rooted passion for truck work and firmly believes that the primary purpose on the fireground is search, placing victims above all else. While assigned to an engine company, he has also developed a strong respect for nozzle work and the responsibility that comes with it.

He continues to push himself both physically and mentally through constant training and learning. His goal is to set the example for others while sharing the passion, pride, and knowledge that the fire service deserves.
